This is a group founded on whats-app by engrgit during his reign as the chair of IEEE on OAU campus. It is a closely tied mentoring group for robotics lovers and hardware developers. As a small research group of 3 members, we are called the ihun squad. We are working on a robot called ihun. More information about this is coming soon.
I engage the African hardware community by writing engaging articles on medium to drive the discussions needed to drive the advancement of the field. I also connect all industrial and academic players of the field and engage in public discuss or mentoring of new members interested in hardware. The community has over a thousand member and its growing everyday.
I volunteered as the IEEE chair for undergrad. The title implies the most powerful tech person on campus. My mission was to work with my other seventeen executives to drive the advancement of technology at our campus. I engaged in mentoring, delivering key not speeches and representing the university at both local and international competitions.
During my administration, I created the Computational Intelligence Society IEEECIS with over a thousand members which is meant for students interested in machine learning and artificial intelligence. I partnered with both industrial and academic experts to teach members the rudiments of machine learning for 12 weeks via online classes delivered at real-time via internet for student -tutor engagements. The program was highly successful with over 100 testimonies from participants able to lunch their AI career from the program.
NYSC Camp Coordinator
During my NYSC program at Black Gold Camp in Kaduna State, I contested to be the NYSC program organiser for all 30,000 coppers at that camp. My role involved liaising between the camp administrators.
